In an event in South Korea, thousands of couples have got
married at the Cheongshim Peace World Centre in Gapyeongin near the capital Seoul.
Such events have been a common one in the Unification Church since the 1960s.
This event happened despite fears that thousands of people in a single place could help spread the coronavirus outbreak that originated in Wuhan in China. Till now a total of 724 people have been affected by the virus all around the world and there have been 24 confirmed cases in South Korea. Most of the couples were seen wearing masks.

The church banned couples China from attending the event.
All the attendees who came to the wedding were checked. for coronavirus symptoms. South Korea Government has canceled other large events that feature a large number of people.
